Who we are

Decimo Limited is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16343227, at Acre House, 11-15 William Road, London NW1 3ER, United Kingdom.

For anything in this notice, including any request about your data, contact us at sales@decimo.tech.

What we collect, and when

We collect personal data when you choose to send it to us through a form on this site.

The vehicle programme enquiry form asks for your name, work email address, organisation and job title, together with details of the programme you are working on and what you are trying to decide. The technology partner form asks for the same contact details plus information about your technology, its readiness and where it applies.

Some fields are free text. Please do not include anything confidential or commercially sensitive in them. A form on a website is not a secure channel, and we would rather agree how to exchange that kind of information before you send it.

Our website host records standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type as part of serving the site. We also use our website platform’s own visitor analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use what you send us to reply to you, to understand whether we can help, and to prepare for a first conversation. That is the only purpose.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have approached us about working together, and responding to that approach is what you would reasonably expect. Where you ask to hear from us more generally, we rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.

If you tick the marketing consent box on a form, we will send you occasional email updates on major Decimo developments. We keep them infrequent, and you can opt out at any time by emailing sales@decimo.tech.

Who else sees it

Only the people at Decimo who need to act on your enquiry.

Suppliers that provide our systems process data on our behalf: our website platform, our email and document platform, and our CRM. They act on our instructions under data processing agreements.

Where it is relevant to your enquiry, we may also share details with programme partners and funders, or with technology suppliers where you have asked us to consider their products. Beyond that, we do not share your data with anyone else unless we are required to by law.

Where it goes

Both suppliers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses, or another safeguard recognised under UK data protection law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for 24 months from our last contact with you, then delete them, unless we have gone on to work together, in which case the relationship record is kept under our normal business retention.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. You can also ask for it in a portable format. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Cookies

This site does not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and our analytics does not set cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through. If we ever add a third-party service that does set non-essential cookies, we will ask you first.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will say so on the site.
